I chose 'RAW' as my first website as its simple yet bold layout caught my attention. The functionality is priority in this design layout it s minimal and straight to the point. It follows a clear grid across all pages and yet the symmetry of the grid has been slightly disrupted by the design never reaching across the full length of the webpage. This is a very common characteristic of Brutalist graphic design.
The second website that caught my eye due to the complete simplicity was 'Gillian Wilkins'. It has minimal text and images causing it to almost look unfinished and yet it still tells you all the essential information you need to know.
The third and final website I selected was 'arc'. This website has almost know design features and instead looks almost like a reference list for a wikipedia page for example, rather than a complete website. Whilst the layout looks to be clear and simple the legibility is sometimes compromised by the fact that the signature at the top also moves down as you scroll, covering the main body of text.
