COMPILED PREVIEW PDF SHOWCASING ALL 100 DESIGNS ON A SINGLE A4 SHEET

To create these cover designs quickly, I used processing. Before being taught about processing and what it is, I most likely would have completed this brief on Adobe Illustrator (which would have took me a very long time). I started this task with Graham explaining the basic coding rules in the processing workshop. Here I found out what void setup and void and void draw meant, I learnt about the correct bracket punctuation to use for the coding to work, I also got the grid properties and 100 circles set up. Following this coding method/ pattern, independently after a bit of trial and error, I managed to change the colours of the circles and backgrounds randomly. I also figured out how to add a circle inside another circle, which I thought enhanced my design a lot. I did struggle when trying to add numbers in the top left corner, however after asking Graham for help, and learning that I needed to select a font and place it in my file, it worked perfectly.

I will definitely use processing in the future if I come across briefs like this as its definitely saves a lot of time.

The 100 PDFs are on my journal.
