Raising Awareness To Neurodiversity

Our concept was to rebrand the sunflower lanyard, which is used to raise awareness for an often-overlooked neurological condition. We felt that the current branding may unintentionally feel exclusive or patronising, which could discourage people from participating in the awareness campaign. In response, we chose to replace the lanyard with a rubber band—an alternative that’s visible yet unobtrusive. The design is minimalist, yet impactful, making it easier for people to wear and share the message without feeling uncomfortable or singled out. The goal is to foster a more inclusive approach to raising awareness in a way that feels natural and accessible to everyone.
