My journey into 3D animation began during the workshop tutorials with John, where I discovered my passion for 3D motion graphics. Since those early sessions, I've dedicated a significant amount of time to expanding my skills, diving into several hours of online tutorials to learn Blender and Cinema 4D (C4D). These tutorials have been an invaluable resource, helping me build a solid foundation and experiment with a variety of techniques. To demonstrate my progress, I’ve created a series of short animations, each exploring different features of Blender. These projects include experiments with 3D inflated text, simulating water, understanding gravity, working with rigid bodies, and learning how to use the camera tools. One key feature I’ve explored is the "ease in and out" function, which has allowed me to add more life and flow to my animations.
In addition to my work with Blender and C4D, I’ve also had the opportunity to experiment with physical animation using a drawing tablet during my sessions with John. This has been a calming and almost therapeutic experience, allowing me to approach animation in a different, more tactile way. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue exploring 3D motion graphics. Blender and C4D have both become tools I enjoy working with, and I’m eager to further develop my skills throughout my third year. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead as I refine my craft and push my creative boundaries in the world of 3D animation.
