This is an extension of my "old computer" model I had made a couple blogs before. I scrapped the textures as I want to update them to better quality, so for now I'm just working on the mesh. I preferred a stylised look when I comes to 3D modelling and prefer not to do realistic renders as that's not my style (and I don't want each render take days to render out). For example the wires that plug into the computer and the screen are stylised in the way they are made, they don't sit like real life wires they look more like pipes. I prefer this look as it is more interesting to me.
In general I stay away from realism because why paint a realistic painting when cameras exist? why create a realistic render when cameras can do that for you. Of course they have their own application ,and take a lot of skill to do, but for me it's so much more enjoyable for me to create something a camera cannot replicate.Add my own twist to it. I want to create a whole world in blender and this is the first step to that.
Next step to develop this model is texture it and add more elements to the scene, I would tell you what I would like to add but I'll just show you through these blog posts.
