  1. Martin-Kavel (1861–1931) NAME: unknown.

I saw this on twitter/X actually, from some suggested account on my for you page. It struck me as it encapsulated beauty within a painting and as soon as I saw it I knew it was of French origin. I have a huge affinity to classical paintings especially stemming from French culture 19/20th century. I think the reason it stood out to me and I remembered it is as the esscence of beauty, lust and character all came through and a physical work became instantly moving, as it evoked emotion and struck me as soon as I saw it. Kavel is a “French genre and still life painter and illustrator, born in Paris. Known for his portraits of women, often in exotic costumes or undress. His work todays sells anywhere from $10, to over $16,000.

Im a massive fan of interior design, especially in small places. And as I look forward to having my own home, it's inspiring to see people making places become full of character through their internal vision. This struck me straight away as I thought “wow, I would love to have that room”. This has now got 270k likes and counting, so many clearly agreed. I saved it as its someit'sng I enjoy to see in the process of someone else, and something that can inspire me and make me look forward to having the same. Theyre just a general poster, mainly basketball, with 11k followers, now adding ‘Home Decor’ to their bio. This is seemingly from the success of a succession of photos from their new home over the last 6 months, as people seem to really be getting behind and supporting these pictures.

My clear media ingestion is on X, curating it over the years and seeing niche student design work alike. This one made me think thats interesting because it was so eye catching, vibrant and bold. Which is themes I really enjoy and have and would like to experiment with more as time goes on. It was just the way the saturation was used in not being able to just scroll past it, I had to look. To me, thats whats important for design in such a saturated market and world. It stands out and uses different techniques in a way that all works in brash symphony. This is a designer at ‘LoudGG’ that are on Behance. They are a visual identity rebrand for ‘esports organisation’ LOUD LOUD from Brazil that compete in various games online. They have the largest number of followers on social media in Brazil and the second largest in the world.
