Lists to Do
To keep track of what's due and what requires attention, I mainly rely on a mobile app called 'Lists to Do' to manage my workflow. But occasionally, I have trouble navigating the straightforward layout, particularly when I'm attempting to prioritise my responsibilities. The list frequently feels overwhelming, making it difficult to quickly assess my current situation. I believe it would be really beneficial if I could view things graphically, such as through charts or graphs. I could quickly determine what is urgent and what can wait if I could see a clear timeline with deadlines, a pie chart that displays my progress, or a bar graph that highlights priority tasks. It would undoubtedly make me more organised.
Apple Finder
With abilities like Spotlight search, the MacBook Finder is easy to use and provides fast access to files. Larger file collections, however, can cause chaos and make organisation challenging. There are few sorting options and it can be difficult to search for certain documents. The file management experience could potentially be greatly improved by better software with advanced sorting or AI-driven recommendations.
Notion
I think Notion for project management has the potential to substantially improve my workflow, therefore I'm eager to give it a try. Based on my own research, it appears to be an excellent tool for centrally organising projects, notes, and deadlines. Making customised project boards and using checklists to monitor my progress excites me. It seems like the app could help me stay focused and be more productive if I can easily collaborate with others and modify it to fit my own workflow. I'm excited to see how it optimises and organises my work process.
Hazel
By automating repetitive file management tasks, a program like Hazel would greatly enhance my workflow. My files could be automatically renamed according to preset rules, sorted into folders, and organised by Hazel. My desktop would become less cluttered and I would save time. I could concentrate more on my main work without getting sidetracked by the ongoing need to organise my files if Hazel handled jobs like transferring documents, removing outdated files, or marking key ones. All in all, it would greatly simplify and increase the efficiency of my workflow.
