Week 2 5.2.2

5.2.2 Past project- 4.2 book project

I would choose the book cover that we completed last year in 4.2.I would incorporate the ai tool in photoshop in order to explore different outcomes through the use of prompts in order to create a previously unexplored unique outcome. I would also incorporate AR tools such as Adobe Aero in order to create interactive illustrations that can display information about the book. For example, I chose To The Lighthouse so I could’ve created an interactive light house that can hold the information that would be revealed when the book cover is scanned. Aero could have been incorporated to provide useful in sight into the lore of the book and digital interactive aspects of the book cover.

Aero could have been used to provide the user with a customisable cover that could be altered and rearranged through certain aspects of the being able to be placed on the cover and viewed in ar as an alternative cover that was created by the user. It could also provide the reader with a small summary of what the story will hold, like a blurb, which could provide the audience with valuable insight into what may not have been previously available. Which would’ve been uncomprehensible without a AR experience provided by Aero, which is a creative yet alternative approach to a simple static illustration.

I believe Aero could be anengaging and interesting approach which I think is a valuable asset to help influence my approaches to future projects. It can help target audiences and help them delve into the narrative of a project or illustration more seamlessly. It can allow users to have a stronger connection to the material and have a personalised interactive experience that they have not seen or engaged with before, which not only provides exposure to an alternative AR experience but also the physical product itself.
