For this task in groups, we decided to research specific conditions within the broader spectrum of neurodiversity. The condition we zoned in on for purposes of creating a campaign for was SPD (sensory processing disorder). We chose this due to the fact that people with SPD have heightened or lack thereof senses. This makes the affected person more susceptible to overwhelming stimuli. We felt this was important to highlight as we felt that it would be fitting to make people more aware and more accommodating to this group of people. To tackle this, we created hashtags, buzzwords and keywords as well as brainstorm potential strategies.
Eventually we presented our ideas in a 2 minute elevator pitch, in which we highlighted who the target audience is, what need to be addressed in regard to the target, and how we plan to put the campaign into action, highlighted here in a presentation I designed titled ''what is that sunflower'' - a reference to the sunflower symbolising neurodiversity:
