TouchDesigner

Version 1

For this video i followed a youtube tutorial on how to create a sound reactive visuals. I learnt how to create shapes and reflections, how to add different reactors which allow different nodes to work together. It was a steep learning curve and i still wouldn't know how to work the software but it was good practice. The audio reactiveness wasn't very prominent however.

Version 2

In this video i used the same node layout but i tried to create a more reactive video to the audio. It still isnt as reactive as i wouldve liked but its definetley an improvment. Regardless, i am pleased with the videos and i enjoyed learning the new software. I would like to revisit touch designer and try different types of visuals as well as different approaches.

Node Layout

This is my node layout. The left nodes focus more on the audio reacting with the shapes and as it moves right it becomes more focused on manipulation on the video and shapes.
