Title Sequence - After Effects
Based on the motion animation - title sequence workshop that John led during the second week of the 5.2 module, i present what is tentatively being called 'Casino - Battle Royal'.
Workshop Work
During the actual workshop, we took on a practice design, rotoscoping out a video of a man, to either take him somewhere new, or to present information behind the man himself, basically creating a third dimension of working. It creates a rather nice layered effect.
The Idea
We were given the task of creating our own 20 to 30 second title sequence for the next week. I wanted to use my camera and recently purchased tripods (big stand up one and a smaller octopus leg one) to film footage for the video. The idea i then got, was to work with the people i filmed, to each create a segment of the title sequence to then string together to create a longer one, with music and other trimmings. As we have been playing cards recently, i teamed up with Dan, Matt, Matthew and Louis (who decided to make his own sequence) to film footage and then make 4 segments.
The Footage
My Result
I'll do a separate post once the final longer video is cut together and music is applied, but here is my video separate, featuring Matt as 'The Dealer'
