During Module 5.2, I reflected on how using new technologies like AI and AR could have improved my previous design work. Specifically, I thought about the book cover I created last year in Module 4.2. By incorporating tools like Photoshop’s AI features and Adobe Aero, I could have taken the design to a whole new level, making it more creative and interactive.
For example, Photoshop’s AI tools could have helped me explore different design styles by simply using prompts related to the book’s themes. I could input ideas and AI could generate visuals based on these. This would’ve allowed me to quickly try out ideas and create something unique that I might not have thought of on my own.
In addition, using Adobe Aero could have added an interactive layer to the book cover. Imagine any illustration that comes to life when scanned with a phone, moving across the cover or animations that reveal key elements of the book’s story. I could have used AR to make the book cover more than just a design, turning it into an experience where readers could explore themes, characters, or hidden messages.
Using AR like this would also make the book more engaging and exciting for readers. It could provide them with extra information or insights into the story in a fun and modern way.
Looking back, combining AI and AR tools would have given me the chance to experiment more and create something truly special. These technologies show how design can go beyond just looking good—it can become an interactive and immersive experience. This is something I definitely want to explore in future projects!
