Public space, Public voice

Create a campaign that raises awareness about:
neurodiversity in public spaces. Public spaces – streets, parks, transport hubs, shops, community centres – are designed for everyone, but they don't always work for everyone. Neurodivergent people often face challenges that remain invisible to others: sensory overload from noise and lighting, anxiety in unpredictable environments, difficulties with
way finding, or social expectations that feel impossible to navigate. Your campaign should make these challenges visible and spark conversation about how public spaces could be more inclusive.

our idea for the campaign

These images above show our groups idea for the campaign, we came up with the idea of putting sneery huts up in crowed/overwhelming places such as in shopping centres. The hut includes different sensory things such as LED light tubes, fidget toys, iPads and headphones, brand bags, snacks ect.

Reflection:

Technologies considered - When given the brief we wanted to use powerpoint or keynote, indesign did cross our minds as we use that for process documents for hand ins.

Technologies used - as a group we used power point to create the min map and we think this was because when we was giving the brief we got told one slide so immediately thought to use powerpoint. And we formatted it as a mind map as that was the easiest way we could brain storm different ideas and put them down in a way that was understandable as a group. Then once we had all our ideas on a mind map we looked at drawing out the hut so we could visualise it even more.

Process - Our group worked well together as we all gave different ideas that we could use for the campaign then we all had similar ideas so it was easy when it came to choosing the final one as we could include bits of everyones in it. We looked at googling what helps neurodivergent people which is where the sensory idea came from. Some of my ideas such as the fidget box and the snack draw came to me as that is what I think I would want in there. And then when it came to talking about my idea that came really naturally to me which surprise me as I don't normally like talking about my ideas as I feel like ill get it wrong however this time I was passionate about it and confident in our groups idea.
