Maria Figueiredo, also known as Maria Figas, is a Lisbon-based graphic designer working across editorial design, branding, motion and printmaking.

As well as analogue methods such as screen printing.
To create work like this myself, I would need to become more comfortable using bright, neon colours, as I usually tend to avoid them. I’d like to try Riso printing to achieve a more unique and textured outcome, or experiment with screen printing, since it’s a technique I haven’t explored yet. I would also experiment with different paragraph layouts and variations in text size, similar to how Maria Figas uses typography in her brochure, to create a more dynamic and visually engaging design.
