  1. The ordinary ad

I found it through TikTok. I love the satirical nature of the ad. It makes fun of the skincare industry and how it perpetuates insecurities onto women just to make a profit. It has aura of Patrick Bateman and the costume department makes clothing that describes all the "flaw" of people.

The Ordinary challenges supposed skincare innovation in new ad
In its latest work from Uncommon Creative Studio, the popular beauty brand takes aim at its competitors for making baseless claims about their products

The studio that created it was Uncommon creative studios.

The Ordinary has released a new campaign that pushes back against the empty marketing language used frequently by beauty brands to ‘dupe’ customers.

From ‘age-defying’ and ‘magic’ to ‘wrinkle erasing’ and ‘flawless’, the newly-devised chart lays out the dubious claims to innovation that many beauty products advertise.
