Jitter experiments

During the session Graham introduced us to a tool called jitter

this tool allows for simplistic easy animation without having to use software such as adobe after effects.

This tool heavily simplifies the learning curve of animation especially the curves panel which is hand manipulated in after effects rather than the sliders which can be used within jitter.

I enjoyed using this tool as it allowed me to create similar levels of animations in a more simplistic easily defined way.

this is one made using the solar system app template which was through figma, the implementation into tools such as figma allows for easy visualisation of apps and websites animation without the time of creating these animations by hand in another piece of software, it is alot easier to iterate and find different combinations of animation for development of a final outcome.

the leeds.graphics design was also given to us using figma, we were then told to experiment to create an animation using this.

Although I enjoyed using Jitter it doesn't have the control that after effects has for finer details, As stated previously however it allows for quick visualisation. If i were to use this tool in the future I would use this as the blockwork for an animation figuring out what works / doesn't work within a composition.

Through this the development process through after effects would be for further development rather than initial blocking allowing the process to be quicker with less hastle.
