As AI is becoming more easily and readily available for everyday use the use of ChatGPT specifically has become more and more common. Most people know of ChatGPT from helping write essays and articles however it has much more uses than just that.
When you open up ChatGPT it starts with a couple of different prompts of what to use it for which includes:
- Create Image
- Summarize Text
- Help Me Write
- Make A Plan
It gives the user an option to select one of these prompts or to type into the text box to begin your AI conversation.
The ‘Create Image’ feature when selected gives you a few prompts of what you can ask it to create. However the user can get really creative with this and ask it to create an image of practically anything you can think of no matter how weird and unrealistic it will help the user by generating this image.
For example I asked ChatGPT to create an image of crocodiles wearing space helmets on mars:
If you are happy with the result that the AI has created for you then you can download the image and use it for your desired use however, if you don't like the outcome or would like changes to be made you can communicate this to ChatGPT and it will adjust the image and make a new version for use.
For example ‘Can you make them stand up?’:
More everyday uses of ChatGPT include shopping lists, meal ideas and recipes based on ingredients you already have, medical advice and mental health support, research and data analysis, scheduling and time management and much more. Basically if you ask it anything it will give you at the minimum advice on what you are struggling with.
In the past I have personally used ChatGPT to give me meal recipes based on the ingredients that I have but have been struggling to figure out what to make with them. You just ask the AI ‘What meal can I make with Chicken, Peppers, Tomatoes and Broccoli?’:
And it gives you sometimes multiple options in this case ‘Chicken and Vegetable Stir-Fry or a Chicken and Veggie Bake’ and then it gives you the ingredients and instructions for all recipes it has produced:
I think that the use of AI with ChatGPT is becoming more and more useful, its just now about breaking down the divide of users thinking it’s only application is for writing bodies of text. These examples both show the fun ways of using AI to push boundaries of what you think to be so unrealistic but actually becoming a real image as well as everyday productive uses for day to day life in just functioning as a human.
