Week 3: Workflow
These designs are from the workshop on Processing where we learnt coding and more efficent ways to do repetitive actions. The brief was to generate 100 distinct variations of an A5 cover designs using a defined set of parameters. Each cover needed to feature a grid of randomly sized circles. Above is my outcome by following the tutorial on Processing, and below is a screenshot of my coding.
I found this workshop useful as I have learnt new ways to complete tasks that would usually take a long time with the skills I’m used to. It is also an easy way to create a large number of randomly generated designs that need to follow the same guidelines.
