Experimenting with HTML and CSS: First-Time Reflections
For this task, I uploaded screenshots of my Processing experiments to a short post on leeds.graphics and added the .html file to my Journal on CAGD. It was my first time diving into HTML and CSS, and I found the experience both challenging and intriguing. After watching the "Introducing HTML and CSS" screencast, I gave customizing the styles for one of my posts a try.
Although I wasn’t able to make any significant changes, I was thrilled to at least open the coding pages in Chrome and navigate through the initial steps. It was exciting to see how these elements fit together to build something functional and unique. Sharing my screenshots felt like a small but meaningful achievement, as they showcased the visual appeal of the layered circle grids I had created.
Even though my customizations were minimal, the experience gave me an appreciation for the potential of HTML and CSS in enhancing online content. It’s a learning curve, but I’m eager to keep exploring and improving my skills. Seeing even small steps take shape in a digital space was inspiring, and I’m looking forward to pushing my boundaries further in the future!
