I looked through and played with many of the websites for quite a while. There was some really unique and fun websites on there that kept me entertained for ages. I thought I'd start with looking at my favourite out of the websites.
This being https://twomuch.studio. It is one of the most digitally creative websites I have ever seen, it destroys conventional website ideas by using animation and open white space to make the design interact. You are welcomed with a box of 'nothing' that explodes into a bunch of different objects and design which you can click to 'explode' again.
The reason it is a particular favourite of mine is their store. I have never seen such a creative way to showcase clothing, as an interactive digital shopping aisle which you can move down and look around 360 degrees. I just love this because it combines genius digital design that the rest of the studio creates but puts it to practical use.
The next website I wanted to discuss was one that I enjoyed much less. It is https://arrc.site which appears to be someone's online portfolio. Despite a lot of the work being quite impressive, the portfolio itself is not. It is simply a list including all of her work, however there is no introduction, hierarchy or meaning behind any of it.
I understand that this itself is an interesting concept, however I am not a fan. The font size remains the same throughout and even the logo is low quality and not appealing, it is clearly unconventional, but for me there is a reason people don't do it this way and its clear.
Finally, I wanted to look at https://www.toiletpapermagazine.org this is again a unique website but in a whole different way. It is a sort of digital collage of all the design the magazine has created, but it is presented as a single very long web page which I particularly like. It makes various sounds and noises as you scroll adding another level interactivity.
