Blender
After being introduced to Cinema 4D i took it upon myself to try learn blender. At first it was hard to adjust to due to the controls being so different to Cinema 4D but after a while i started to get used to the commands.

This was my first render using blender following a tutorial on youtube, this allowed me to adjust to using blender and understand how it worked properly. During the making of this i did have some issues like some objects being linked together meaning i couldn't change their colour. but now i know how to seperate objects from their parent.

This was an attempt at using realism in blender, it was partially successful but when creating the creases in the chair it became pixelated, this was due to me making the object at a scale to small for what it should've been so if i scaled it up and redid the sculpting it would look less pixelated.

Once i felt i had learnt enough from tutorials i decided to try make something from scratch i chose a tie fighter first, because they're wicked and second i thought the structure looked easy to replicate with simple shapes and extruding surfaces for depth.
After i made the tie fighter, i thought i'd merge everything i learnt together and made a terrain for the fighter to fly over and animate a movement for it. This was really fun to use and i am still using it.

This was one of my earlier trials of blender and i consider it a fail because i made this shirt so i could use some different techniques like how different surfaces interact with each other. I wanted the t shirt to not be rigid and to act like cloth and fall on to the hanger, but even after i added a cloth and gravity modifier it wouldn't move of just fall straight though the hanger.

This is another early on trial where i wanted to see if i could create life like grass, this definitely was a success although in my future work i don't think i shall use it as i want to aim for a more cartoonish style similar to my first blender attempt i displayed. Blender has been my favourite thing i have discovered through this module and shall keep on using it to better the quality of my work.
