Augmented Reality Intervention

Augmented Reality Intervention

My AR intervention at Millennium square prototype

Week Two: Innovations

For this brief we used the skills learned in the AR workshop to create a site-specific AR project that interacts with the environment in the city. My group created an AR art installation located in the Millenium square that only exists in augmented reality using Aero Adobe. We made the letter ‘Y’ spin, the letter ‘E’ bounce, and the letters ‘X’ and ‘I’ swap places, to show what it can be like to read for people who struggle with dyslexia.

It was interesting to learn about the advanced technologies that are possible for us to use. This seminar will have an impact on how I approach future briefs and projects as I feel I have a clearer understanding on these innovations.
