audio reactive - live webcam / liquid visuals
For this experiment I went further into the live visuals using my webcam. creating a point cloud effect with audio reactivity using the chop feature with math, for the effect itself I had converted my webcam feed into rgb values which are converted into 3d using instancing through the colour values which allows for depth when there is no 3d scanning used at all, in the future i could made the 3d effect more substantial using a kinect with an adapter to the computer which would allow for the use of the ir camera for depth.
This is an experiment which really helped shaped the idea of a future career in more 3d or live visuals rather than the standard design which i had been previously practicing.
Using the maths chop with different nodes I also created more live liquid style visuals which ripple to the sound of the music and different peaks / lows.
