5.2 - Process Document

5.2.1 - Initiation

I quite liked the start to this module and project. 5.2.1 allowed me to connect with different people that I hadn't previously talked to before, and it allowed me to share my thoughts and process behind various ideas; luckily, this was one of them. 5.2.1 was interesting, and it allowed me to share my idea, which was the one picked amongst the group, food pods.

The idea at first sounded really nice and fun, but after getting the feedback, we all realised our mistake, which was common amongst the rest.

5.2.1 - Initiation
For 5.2.1, we were tasked to create a campaign that raises awareness about neurodiversity in public spaces. My group came up with the idea of having a space/area that has a lot of useful features that might help people with Neurodiversity in public spaces. As shown, these

5.2.2 - Media Diet

I enjoyed 5.2.2, it was really fun researching different websites and softwares i could use. I was already a huge fan of dither boy and had the software used beforehand, it was fun talking to different people and telling them about Dither boy. Im not really a huge fan of research, but if its about a topic im already familiar with or interested in researching more about, i make sure to get every detail i can about the software or topic for others to view.

5.2.3 - Workflow

5.2.3 was almost like a road block, it wasn't that hard, it was just a lot of typing and getting your thoughts down about different topics and interesting questions. It made me realise a lot about my workflow, and how i actually process during a project. Research has never been a good thing for me, in terms of getting the work done, research is always the slowest and less impactful part of the projects i do. Ill be lying if i didn't say research does help, but for me, in the long run of a project, i enjoy just jumping into designing and sketches as quick as possible, as hearing the project being talked about by my tutor, always makes me start thinking of designs and the outcome instantly, a lot of my projects actually still have that same outcome and ending, as i did in the first 5 minutes of hearing the project.

5.2.3 - Workflow
What parts of your practice make you feel most engaged and creative? Personally, I’m more excited about experimenting with different styles and iterations of my designs. It allows me to explore much more than I can when I’m thinking about where to start, and most of the time I

5.2.4 - Automation

5.2.4 was also a really interesting part of this project. I never realised websites existed like this, i thought all of this stuff might've been hidden in a software no one talks about, or a secret plug-in that no one wants to share to different people, but this website had so many interesting website softwares that are very easy to use and do their idea perfectly, i wont be surprised if i end up using some of these softwares and websites in the future, as they do things perfectly, more than other things like adobe photoshop.

5.2.4 - Automation
For 5.2.4, we were tasked to go onto different websites and software that use Automation and experiment with how they work and to show the process of each one. Gradientor Drawing Tool Gradientor is a website that allows you to mess around with 2-3 different gradients on the

5.2.5 -

5.2.5 was honestly a little confusing but i think i got my head around it. I do wish if i had the time, i would go back an actually do the things i said here, as it would've made this project 10x better and would've helped me learn different software and apps for even more projects, but its nice to see and know what needs to be done in order to fully complete this project idea. In the future, i might come back to this project, and see if i can improve it anymore than i already have in this, as it would clearly show my development and how much i have grown as a designer.

5.2.5 - Production 4x6
We got asked to revisit an old Project from either last year or 5.1. We are tasked to use our skills and the software we found, to expand past projects and bring new life to them with different skills and show the production of if we were to fully

Reflection -

I enjoyed this module more than i thought i would at the start. It was very confusing to not have a final brief during the start, and was pretty confusing what i was actually leading up to do by the end of this module, but it has 100% helped me. I think learning about different softwares and other websites that help people with certain designs or ideas its amazing, and is something i didn't fully realised existed, and thought it was hidden away by people or made specifically for one person.

There were a few times i got stuck during this project, paired with 5.3, i really felt a roadblock during the midway part, as having a bad experience with another project, can heavily slow down my motivation and thought process when it comes to multi-tasking 2 projects. But in the end, i think it all worked out.

For future projects, i will 100% be using this research and the other posts that my peers made, to help find different softwares, websites, tools and research to help expand my experience with softwares, as itll allow me to fully show the outcome of a project that i want to complete, as before, i never could fully show the full idea of some projects, as the software and experience i had wasn't the greatest. But now, this 100% helps me discover different places for that, and allows me to show my idea in the best form it can be.

5.2 - Workshops

During 5.2, we had John help us out with some workshops, these were mostly 3D and animation parts, that really helped discover different parts of an interesting topic. Here are a collection of a few different ones i completed.
