5.2.4 Experiments

Experiment 1

This website allowed me to map images onto cubes and change things such as rotation, scale and quantity. It was fun to use but nothing jumps out to me about what it could be used for. The look felt like an un-rendered video game so maybe it could have use in that aesthetic.

Experiment 2

This website was a kinetic typography tool allowing manipulation of text on a spinning path. This site was another fun one to play with and could definitely be paused to create posters or placed into other moving image.

Experiment 3

This website was about creating fonts. It had a few different grid templates to play with and was my favourite out of the experiments. I created a font that night using a circular grid. The restrictiveness of the grids helped to stop perfectionism and create abstract letterforms. I would like to maybe animate my font in the future or use it in real designs.
