5.2.2 Jitter Animations
These are my three animations i created with the designs given to us by Graham, the software was really easy to learn and created some great animations, it reminded me of another software called cavalry however it was easier to design in Jitter. I look forward to revisiting it with some of my own designs.
Solar System
This animation features the planets of the solar system revolving the sun. For this one io kept it simple not adding any crazy animations and just seeing how curved movement paths reacted. I then randomised the planets appearing on and off screen which gave the effect they were spinning on their own axis.
5.2
This animation started with me animating dots pulsing back and forth. I then created a dot matrix style number animation that spelled 5.2. This then lead into a transition to the type and then ends with dots regenerating back into the dot-matrix. I really enjoyed animating this one and it gave a broad range of animation transitions and techniques within Jitter.

The final animation saw me animating type more. Again, it was great to play around with different styles and create a sequence. This achieved a nice effect and plays into a loop. Id like to use something like this for branding and promotion as it was really simple to achieve a professional type animation.
Final observations
While Jitter did provide some amazing templates and styles, it became easily clunky and slow when a lot of elements were brought in which did limit its capabilities compared to a bigger programme such as after effects. However, for smaller projects this would be a really useful piece of software which i look forward to implementing into some personal projects.
