For the first design I experimented with placement and installation type pieces:
The numbers represent the date that York Minster was built and also shows how long it took to build, it has historical reference.
I chose to go with a star instead of the sun because I felt it matched the religious themes as well as my colour scheme. I also played around with the illusion of making sure the numbers were aligned from the ground perspective but if you look at it from a birds eye view they appear to be misaligned. I also liked the stain glass window element of the minster so I decided to use some more stain glass as part of the augmented reality as a art installation and reflection of certain elements of the minster.
