5.2.1 Raising awareness about neurodiversity in public spaces

In this brief we were given the task to create an idea to raise awareness of neurodivergent awareness by creating an exhibition. In our group we found it best to speak out loud every idea or thought that came to head out loud, this allowed us all to bounce of each other and develop ideas further. This also helped me realise that no idea is a bad idea, as when we would say something outlandish like a 'death beam shooting from the sky' somehow we could take positives from that.

We took notes and what ideas we liked the most and from there split into separate small groups, some working on designing the booths, some designing specific features in the booth and some writing scripts for our presentation. This made sure everyone knew what they were doing and everyone had a role.

During this task we used indesign, paper notes, notes on our phones and powerpoint to present and create our work.

Using indesign Dan created this mockup of the shelters, it also helps us show our vision in more detail labelling locations, features and a garden design showing what the areas could look like.
