I have chosen to look at System Extension and Animation.

I want to look back on the app I created for my brand in 4.4 and expand it using what I have learnt since. Specifically I wanted to incorporate motion graphics in my app using a software we learnt called 'Jitter'. After the workshop on jitter I have explored it independently and feel I have the necessary skills to be able to carry out this project. I hope that it will add personality to the different pages of the app, making it more interesting to the children it was designed for.

Here I have taken my Figma files and imported into Jitter. My aim is to make a loading in animation that sets up the page in an engaging way. I added a slide in animation to each of the buttons, changing the length of the slide in and how far it slides in. It was important the animations were noticeable but not too long that the user of the app would become frustrated.

I then added animation to the dotted lines, added the 'Mask reveal' animation to make it look like the line was drawing itself. I then moved the different objects around on the timeline so that it all looked smooth and flowed well.
