In our Wednesday workshops with John, we were introduced to cinema 4D. Following a step by step tutorial each week, we learnt most things there is to know about Cinema 4D, whilst completing blood cell animations. On week 1 we made red and white blood cells, focusing on texture, colour, shapes and materials. In week 2, we focused on animating these, making them bounce off of one an other with random directional movements. We also looked at adding type. In the third week, we made our blood cells movement look more realistic by creating a capillary and making them move through it. We looked at camera perspectives and how to make the camera view flow through the capillary with the blood cells. This project, really gave me an understanding of how much you can do and achieve on Cinema 4D. It also highlighted to me how practice makes perfect. I did find using Cinema 4D quite complicated and difficult. However if I keep practicing these techniques and new skills, I believe that I will become a lot more confident and familiar with the software, making it seem more easier.
