For this task we were instructed to use Processing to write a code that would produce 100 different outcomes of the same thing, a numbered a4 sheet that had varying sizes and colours of circles. This practice of coding could be used in industry for a large scale 1 of 1 creation such as book covers, posters or any other material for a campaign. Like 3D software coding is often overlook within Graphic Design as it is not what you initially tie it to. However, as stated it does hold its purpose.

This task proved tricky and tedious due to the code needing to be 100% correct and readable which is unlike other design software where there is no 'correct' place to put something as the technology provides free will within the workspace. While requiring lots of effort, the success and satisfaction of getting it to work made it all worthwhile.

In conclusion, while I do think this technology has its uses I can't see myself personally using it much again. I prefer seeing what Im making as I create it rather than looking at the words and code behind it. Additionally, I feel that at the moment I do not require to capitalise on its ability to generate work in mass numbers leaving me uncertain as to what would make me choose to use this over an already established and known technology.
