Personally, I love brutalist design as I find it visually engaging. I enjoy the simplistic layouts with a raw eye-catching visual design.

The website is easy to use, I like the use of colour and I think the use of different typefaces in the text makes the design eye-catching.

Middle plane
I like the lack of colour in this website, the only use of colour is the images included in the website. The website is very simplistic and straightforward to use. The layout of the text and images as you scroll through the website is very visually engaging and quite satisfying to use.
Magazine
Middle Plane is an art and fashion magazine that explores the art of one particular artist in each issue through the use of fashion and trends. Each issue is pitched as a conversation between fashion and art. The collection of photographs and editorials create a sort of photo essay that encapsulates the artist that is the subject of the issue. Whilst fashion is certainly an art in itself, Middle Plane is able to juxtapose and match the fashion to the art in a way that gives new depth and ways of thinking about the art inside.

This website is extremely simplistic, I like the solid blue background against the black & white magazine covers.
