I used augmented reality (AR) to create an interactive installation that expanded on my previous neurodiversity project, focusing on raising awareness about dyslexia. created by the various ways people perceive and process information, I designed the installation to highlight the specific challenges and strengths associated with dyslexia. I chose Millennium Square to reach a wide audience range, primarily people who aren't dyslexic or have no idea what it is.
By incorporating augmented reality, I overlaid interactive visuals, animations, and text that changed as users interacted with the space, simulating the experience of reading and interpreting information through the lens of dyslexia. This project aimed to promote understanding and compassion while also recognising the creativity and innovation that are frequently associated with neurodiverse ways of thinking.
