AR sensory garden- adobe aero

Following on from the neurodiversity awareness campaign, I really wanted to make a rough scene of what my idea of a sensory garden would look like if made real. After the Adobe Aero workshop, it felt perfect to try and make the garden using augmented reality. Using the basic features and elements within Aero, I created a minimalist rough idea of the garden, which was located just behind broadcasting tower. I chose this location as its close to university so not a short transition for people who may struggle from moving place to place may it be mobility issues or autism transitional struggles. The QR code below will take viewers to the garden scape to see the basic mock up idea of my vision of the garden.

Based off of the initial ideas I had from the neurodiversity campaign, I wanted to make a garden that incorporates elements of the 5 senses, giving visitors sensory feedback so people can interact with elements that calm and relax and overstimulated brain. In Aero, I was looking for a wall panel type of shape/ material to make a flower wall to interact with touch sensations. After looking for a little while I couldn't find a wall panel however in the interior design segment page I found a wooden table feature that I was able to flip on its side to create an illusion of the panel. I added some flowers and leaves onto it to make the flower wall.

The finished product includes people gathered around some benches and tables that have flowers and plants on it for an added garden feel.

I was only creating a basic AR scene with aero developing on my ideas, however below is a page highlighting improvements and additions I could further add to the sensory garden to make it more inclusive with more time using aero.
