5.2 - 3D Animation and modelling in Cinema 4D

Blood cell animation render

On Wednesdays I participated in a workshop to explore Cinema 4D, here we learned how to make basic basic models of blood cells, and then how to have them move and interact with their surroundings and each other.

I really enjoyed this, I've always enjoyed animation, 3D work is new to me. What I found interesting was how scale mattered in this animation, making the blood cells too large would have messed with the physics of the objects in a way that wouldn't be accurate to actually tiny blood cells. That being said, we didn't have to actually make them teeny tiny of course.

Over the course of a few weeks, we modelled, coloured, rendered, animated, lit and learned the basic applications of Cinema 4D.
